We recommend you the parent/s come to the playschool and enjoy a viewing, meet with staff and have any questions you may have answered. It is a good idea to bring your child along either at this first meeting or at another time to see this exciting new place.
Dont make too big a deal of playschool espically if your child has no experience of a childcare setting or a negitive experience from another childcare service or group (we encounter this each year).
Seperation is a very anxious time for young children, this can also be hard on the parent who may feel responsibility or guilt please trust that we know what we are doing and we can send you a message to let you know when your child is settled or phone to let you know how they are getting on. We have dealt with this issue numerous times and we will make sure it is not a big deal.
Visits can be arranged for any time or day of the week allowing both parents, working parents, grand parents or child minders etc.... to view the service and experience the setting for themselves. This is an event that can easily be shared and should be a positive step to independence in your child life.
